STANDARD BUILDING ITEMS


PRIMARY FRAME
Rigid Frame: All the structure members of the frame shall be welded built-up I sections or hot-rolled sections. The columns and the rafters may be either uniform or tapered in depth. Flanges shall be connected to web by means of continuous fillet weld on both sides.

End wall frames: All end wall roof beams and end wall columns shall be cold-formed C sections, mill-rolled sections, or built-up I sections depending on design requirements.

Plates, stiffeners etc: All base plates, splice plates, cap plates and stiffeners shall be factory welded into the required places on the structural members.

Bolt holes: All base plates splice and flanges shall be shop fabricated to include bolt connection holes, web shall be shop fabricated to include bracing holes.

SECONDERY FRAMING
Purlins and Girts: Purlins and girts shall be cold-formed either C or Z sections with or without stiffened flanges. Flange stiffeners shall be sized to company with the requirements of the latest edition of AISC. Specially for Z section of purlin and girt flanges shall be unequal in width to allow for easier nesting during erection. They shall be pre punched at the factory to provide for field bolting to the rigid frames.

Eave struts: Eave struts shall be cold-formed C sections set at an angel similar to roof slope at the eave.

BASIC MATARIAL SPECIFICATIONS
PRIMARY FRAMING STEEL
Steel for hot rolled shapes shall confirm to the requirements of ASTM Specifications 1-36, with minimum yield of 36, 42, or 50 ksi. Steel for built-up sections shall generally confirm to the physical requirements of ASTM D529, ASTM 529 as indicated by the design requirements.

SECONDARY FRAMING STEEL
Steel use to form purlins, girts and eave struts sections shall be hot rolled or cold rolled steel p-55 or equivalent, comparable to the requirements of ASTM A 607 Grade 36, 442 or 50. Minimum yield strength will be 36,000, 42,000 or 50,000 psi.

FLASHING, TRIM AND CAP
Flashing or trim shall be furnished at rake, corners, eaves, framed openings and whenever necessary to provide weather tightness and finished appearance. Sculptured rake trim shall be braked formed 0.47 mm or optional 0.50 mm and 10 to 20 long to minimize joints. Other trim shall be 0.47 mm thick.

ANCHOR BOLTS AND BASE PLATES
Anchor bolts and base plates are designed to resist all column reactions and bending and uplift wind pressure. Anchor bolts shall be provided 20-30 mm into diameter and extended at least 350 mm into the concrete. There shall be washers under the nuts. Anchor bolt holes in pedestals and base plates shall be oval in shape.

SHEETING FASTENERS
Roof and wall panels are attached to secondary structural supports with zinc coated no. 14 x 50 mm and no.14 x 20 mm self-drilling, self-tapping screws with 8 mm to 10 mm hex heads and bonded with neoprene washers.

NUTS & BOLTS
Structural bolts shall meet the requirements of ASTM A 325 for primary frame connections and A 307 for secondary frame connections.

TUBE SEALANTS & BLIND RIVETS
This is a paste type component, versatile, acetic cure silicon sealant formulated for general purpose glazing and sealing applications where long-term durability is required. It will bond to form a durable, flexible and waterproof seal on many common wet building materials.

WIND BRACING
DIAGONAL BRACING: Diagonal bracing at the roof and side wall shall be used to reduce longitudinal loads acting parallel to ridge line such as wind load, crane load etc. in the structure. This bracing will be furnished along its length and equipped with bevel washers and nuts at each end. It may consist of rods threaded at each end or galvanized cable with suitable threaded end anchors. If load requirement demands, bracing may be of structural angle, I section or pipe, bolted in place.

FLANCE BRACING: The compression flange of all primary framing shall be braced laterally (optional) with angles connecting to the webs of purlins or girts so that the flange compressive stress is within allowable limits for any combination of loading.

SPACIAL BRACING: When diagonal bracing is not permitted in the sidewall columns, a steel tube will be used to connect longitudinally each column which forms a rigid frame structure.

BASE ANGLE:
As an alternative of the side runner to attach the side sheet with concrete or side brick wall top, ASBS adopt 1.5 mm thick galvanized steel angles as base angle anchored with royal bolts.

GUTTERS AND DOWN SPOUT:
Sculptured eave gutter shall be braked formed 0.47mm or optional 0.5mm, 10 to20 long for the purpose of collecting rain water for drainage form the roof. Gutter shall be fastened with gutter brackets after roof and wall sheets are placed. Valley gutters are used in case of multi gable buildings. Downspouts shall be either 0.47 mm or 0.5 mm braked formed steel color coated sheet having rectangular shape according to the design.

WATTER PROOFING:
Beyond the dynamic strength of structures complete standard of the building depends also on weather proofing package that comes with each and every ASBS pre fab building.

ROOF AND WALL CONVERINGS
ZINCALUME AUTO-RIB-6 PANEL
This is special type of color coated steel sheet having various alloy coating of 55% Aluminum, 43.4% Zinc and 1.6% silicon, solidified at 600 degree Celsius high temperature. The whole structure is a quaternary AL- Fe-Si-Zn compound, which creates a protection of corrosive factors effectively

STANDER PANEL PROFILE
Obviously this auto rib-6 panel steel sheet would serve as attractive and cost efficient wall and roof panel. Each sheet covers 915 mm in width. It is composed of six major ribs 152 mm on center and 33 mm pitch with other two minor ribs of 10 mm pitch.
